As Android Operating system debuted in 2007, several versions have been released since then. Now the latest versions are the Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean. Why does Android constantly update its version in just a short span of time? Have the answer in layman’s term as we take a look with the two latest versions.
Ice Cream Sandwich: This 7th version of Android, which was released in October 2011, was depicted from the Linux kernel. Here are the following types or evolutions of Ice Cream Sandwich:

4.0.4: The camera was yet again improved, the screen rotation has become smoother, and the phone recognition was improved.
Jelly Bean
This latest and 8th version is the Ice Cream’s faster and nicer version. It primarily aims to improve the function and performance of the user interface. With the project butter which concerns about achieving 60 frames per second across the board on modern hardware compared to the older gadgets. It has more plenty application at faster range. Here are the new things found in Jelly Bean:
Keyboard: The keyboard may look exactly the same as the Ice cream but if you have been using Swiftkey then you’ll realize it has a predictive keyboard. It automatically gives recommendation of the possible things you want to browse in the internet with only 1 letter.
Offline Map: Get into places you want to go even without the comfort of the internet connection. It’s precise and smooth navigation key can get you into place you’ve never been to. The planted GPS can get you anywhere you want to go.
Easier cleaning way of home screen: Icons can be now easily drag and some unwanted application and widgets can be easily removed as well.
Google voice search: Get direct answers from this, this is different from the Siri application they say it is actually more convenient to use the Apple’s Siri.
