Since the file is a compressed one, unzip it to a folder on your PC.
Now connect your device to the computer through a USB cable. The mode on your phone should be “Charge only”.
Go to the folder where the files were extracted and double click “RunMe.Bat”. Proceed with the instructions that come onscreen for rooting process.
When the rooting procedure has been accomplished, restart your device.
You can confirm the rooting by downloading an app like SuperUser (free).

Installing via Xperia CWM Auto Installer
People might have a fear element when it comes to the manual installation, since the “human” factor can mess it up. For this case, you can try the Xperia CWM Auto Installer app. This is an automated installer. This can be downloaded from XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=850330&d=1326200480). For initiating the installation, simply run the app and hit the “Install” button.
